With the fashion industry estimated to contribute £21 billion to the UK economy, not only is this an important event for new and established fashion designers, but also High Street names such as M&S, Debenhams and House of Fraser. The fashion industry is also considered to be important for the country as a whole, as it helps to promote British design worldwide, helps to promote the image of the country and attracts overseas visitors to help the UK tourism industry.
