New Samsung Galaxy S6 has a Stunning Display

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 has a super sharp Quad HD Display
Samsung is clearly not a company to rest on its laurels, as demonstrated by its new flagship phone, the Galaxy S6.  Indeed, at the launch of the phone before Mobile World Congress this year in Barcelona, the company CEO mentioned relentless innovation, and well ... he wasn't joking.

Pre-Order the Samsung Galaxy S6 from EE Mobile

The Galaxy S6 display is 5.1 inches across the diagonal, and is of the Quad HD display standard, which means it has 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.  This gives a very high a pixel density of 577 pixels per inch, which dwarfs the 326 pixels per inch of the iPhone 6. The excellent pixel density means super sharp images, and you'll never see any pixellation when using this phone.  Initial reports of the screen performance have been very favourable, with experts saying it is the best smartphone display ever.  Colour accuracy, contrast ratio and brightness are all class leading.  What this means is you should be delighted by your viewing experience.  The screen should also be readable in all conditions, including outside on bright summer days.  The phone brightness can also be turned right down for comfortable viewing in dark rooms.  Samsung have set new standards with their S6 display, and its excellent capabilities will come into their own when used in conjunction with the Samsung Gear VR headset (coming soon), into which the phone can be inserted to provide a virtual reality experience.  The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, which is really tough and should mean a very durable phone.

If you are serious about your smartphone, the Galaxy S6 looks like a good choice, and you can pre-order it from EE from 20th March, with delivery expected on 10th April.  There's a choice of colours, but we think the blue topaz option looks really stunning.  Here's the full Galaxy S6 spec if you are yet to make a final decision on buying the phone.
