Peter Andre on The Chris Moyles Show Fri 2nd July 2009

Peter Andre will be on the Chris Moyles Show on the morning of Friday 2nd July 2009. We know from watching "Katie & Peter Stateside" that Peter has been working really hard on a new album, and hopefully we will get to hear more of it on the Show. There were a couple of tracks played on the TV Series, with coverage from the American Studio (in LA if memory serves) where he made the album. We thought one of the tracks was really good so we're looking forward to any plays that Mr Moyles makes. Let's hope all of Pete's hard work is rewarded.

Andy Murray v Andy Roddick in Wimbledon Semi Finals

Andy Murray will be playing American Andy Roddick in the Wimbledon Semi Finals on Friday 3rd July.

Roddick was the final victor in an epic five setter against Australian Leyton Hewitt. Roddick's huge serving was a vital weapon against Hewitt, who always plays with utter determination for every point. The match could have gone either way, with little separating the two players, but it was Roddick who made the vital break in the penultimate game of the last set, and then went on to serve out the match.

Being British we have to be supporting Murray for the semi final, but both Andy's are great credits to the game of tennis.

Andy Murray through to Wimbledon Semi Finals

It was an Andy Murray Tour de Force in the hot sunshine at Centre Court today as he overwhelmed Juan Carlos Ferrero in three straight sets, 7-5, 6-3, 6-2. After winning the first set, Ferrero managed to break early in the second set, but Murray stepped up a gear and Ferrero didn't get a look in after that. Andy Murray successful mixed up his play against Ferrero, using shots such as the slice backhand to great effect, as Ferrero uses extreme grips and doesn't like to be forced to bend to hit groundstrokes. In the final set, Murray was in a hurry to get through the games, and wasn't hanging around between serves. The whole match took just 1hr 43min.

Murray will play either Hewitt or Roddick in the semi finals.

Murray Takes Second Set Against Ferrero

Andy Murray has just won the second set against Ferrero with a love service game, taking the set 6-3. Nice turnaround Andy.

Murray Looking Strong in Second Set

Andy Murray has turned around the second set and is currently 5 games to 3 up against Ferrero.

Andy Murray takes the First Set Against Ferrero

Andy Murray has taken the first set against Ferrero 7-5. Ferrero was serving to stay in the first set and double faulted at set point.

In another quarter final, Haas put out Djokovic and will face Roger Federer in the semi finals.

Andy Murray vs Ferrero Match Update

Andy Murray is currently leading six games to five against Juan Carlos Ferrero in the first set of his match on Centre Court. It is very hot at Wimbledon at the moment, and the umbrellas are out to protect the players during their rest breaks. Ferrero has just come back on to serve to stay in the first set ...
