A few months ago, a spokesman from Girls Aloud confirmed that Cheryl Cole would begin recording material for a solo album, and she's now in LA working on songs with the likes of will.i.am. She has of course already done the song Heartbreaker with will.i.am, and she went to LA to do the video for this after learning to streetdance in the ITV2 show "The Passions of Girls Aloud". As for the rest of the band, they are taking a bit of a breather at the moment, but they have signed another record deal and so Girls Aloud will be back in a big way in 2010. Bandmate Sarah Harding has taken the opportunity to do a bit of acting, and she was in the BBC drama Freefall about the global financial crisis earlier this month.
