Roddick Beats Murray in Wimbledon Semi Final

It really could have gone either way, but Roddick put in some of his best tennis to beat Andy Murray in the Wimbledon Semi Finals, 3 sets to 1, with a second tiebreak deciding the fourth set. No doubt Andy Murray will be bitterly disappointed with today's result, but Roddick put in a sterling performance, being patient and waiting for the right moment to go for his shots. Murray played very well, but Roddick stuck to his gameplan which involved a volleying game, and Roddick loves a tiebreak, where his big serve is a formidable weapon. Throughout the match, Roddick achieved 75% of first serves in, so it was a very tough match for Murray, who had opportunities to swing the match, but perhaps luck was just not on his side in what was a very closely fought contest.
