We're absolutely loving the BBC3 Glastonbury 2009 coverage at the moment. We've just seen Bruce Springsteen performing with The Gaslight Anthem. Bruce was the band's idol so you can imagine how their lead singer felt as they sang "The '59 Sound", The Gaslight Anthem's truly amazing single, which has the lyrics "Ain't supposed to die on a Saturday night" and something about hospital wards (the bit we seem to remember). Anyway, whilst we can't bring you the actual Glastonbury footage, we have found a high quality Director's Cut of the video to "The '59 Song" from YouTube, so you can hear the song we are raving about.
