New Series of Top Gear Starts Sunday 21st June
Car fans don't have long to wait for the new series of Top Gear, which starts on BBC2 at 8pm on Sunday 21st June 2009. The first programme has Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson competing in a London-to-Edinburgh race to discover what Top Gear might have been like 60 years ago. Richard chooses a Vincent Black Shadow motorbike, James drives a Jaguar XK120 sports car and Jeremy takes the train, a newly-built steam locomotive called The Tornado which was built by steam train enthusiasts to plans of Britain's classic steam trains.
